The City of Graham Inspections Department is primarily responsible for enforcing North Carolina State Building Codes and local ordinances related to construction and development. Inspections Department Staff review and approve plans, issue permits for residential and commercial construction, and perform building, plumbing, mechanical, and electrical inspections. Inspections staff also investigate zoning compliance and public nuisances such as abandoned motor vehicles and overgrown lots.
