Historic Resources Commission

The seven member Historic Resources Commission is charged with promoting, enhancing, and preserving the character of historic districts and landmarks, including the Courthouse Square Historic District. To that end, the HRC administers the annual Façade Grant Program. The HRC also reviews and decides upon Certificates of Appropriateness for exterior alterations, construction or demolition in any historic district or landmark. All Commission members are appointed by the City Council.
