Assistant City Manager
Aaron Holland rejoined the City of Graham in this new capacity in October 2015. Mr. Holland brings over 11 years of experience in government affairs where he previously worked for the NCDOT as a ROW Agent/Project Manager, before joining our staff in 2007. He served as Graham’s City Planner until 2012 where he was instrumental in many projects that are still ongoing or have met success, including the Children’s Museum. Mr. Holland left Graham to become the Planning and Development Director in Roxboro and was also named director of the joint City/County Planning and Development Department for Roxboro and Person County.
Mr. Holland graduated from NC State University with a BS in Science, Technology and Society with a concentration in Industrial Engineering and Technology Management and a minor in Environmental Science. He received a Master’s Degree in Applied Geography and Urban Planning with a concentration in Economic Development from UNCG and went on, following his time in Graham, to complete his coursework for a certificate in Municipal and County Administration from UNC Chapel Hill.
In addition to assisting the City Manager in all aspects of city government, Mr. Holland is charged with managing various administrative, development, and support services for the City.
