May 6 – May 18, 2020 Piedmont Natural Gas will perform a series of routine pipeline maintenance near the intersection of Cherry Land and East Harden Street.
During the work, it may be necessary for PNG to “flare,” or burn off, any excess natural gas. You may notice:
-A tall flame, visible for a half-mile or more
-A loud noise
-The smell of natural gas
-Technicians in and around this area
These activities are safe, routine and controlled, and will be managed by trained PNG personnel in cooperation with City of Graham NC Fire Department. Please do not be alarmed, as this is a normal part of our operations.
