Graham is rich with architecture in our downtown. In a time when commercial centers are being built to mimic styles of Graham’s buildings it is time we point out the authenticity and create an opportunity to “Look UP.”  The City of Graham and community partners collaboratively have brought Council member, Griffin McClure’s vision of creating a walking architectural tour to downtown Graham through funding made possible by The Community Innovation Fund, a partnership of Alamance Community Foundation and Impact Alamance.

Participate in the Look UP architectural tour to learn more about the time period when downtown was first being built.  Three tours are available for you to select to participate in. . .

Marvel Tour – designed for children ages 8yrs to 14yrs. Participants are guided on a scavenger hunt at the Graham Public Library, given a tour and safety talk at both the Graham Fire & Police Departments, and the final stop is a stroll through the Art Park and architectural talk at Alamance Arts.

Moveable Feast Tour – designed for participants of all ages.  This tour includes tasting samples of signature dishes from three of downtown Graham’s restaurants.

New Age Traveler Tour – designed for social engagement while exploring the architecture in downtown Graham.  This tour invites participants ages 21years and older who are intrigued by the architecture and are ready to have a 2oz tasting sampling of a spirited drink presented by three of downtown Graham’s craft beer, wine, and cocktail haunts.
