Re: Stabbing 19 Cates Circle Apt B
On 3/18/19 at 9:16PM officers with the Graham Police Department responded to 19 Cates Circle Apt B in reference to a reported stabbing. Officers found Timothy Carroll, 57 YOA, with a stab wound to the abdomen. The investigation revealed that Carroll had an altercation with Edward Shaw, 54 YOA, of 7 Cates Circle Apt C, during which Shaw stabbed Carroll. Carroll was transported by Alamance County EMS to UNC Chapel Hill in serious but stable condition.
Graham Police, with the assistance of the Burlington Police Department and NC State Highway Patrol, located Shaw at 7 Cates Circle Apt C and took him into custody without incident. Shaw was charged with Assault With a Deadly Weapon With Intent to Kill Inflicting Serious Injury. He was held at the Alamance County Detention Center under a $100,000 secured bond.
