Coronavirus (COVID–19) Athletics Updates

Graham Recreation & Parks Fall 2020 Athletics Update (08/12/2020)

As we move closer to the restart of our recreation athletic programs, we would like to thank everyone for their patience, support, and understanding in allowing us to thoroughly plan for a safe and fun sport experience for all of our young athletes this fall. While this athletic season will look significantly different than previous ones, we are confident that we will be able to maintain our core values of developing each child’s ability, confidence, and desire to participate in sport while adhering to current health recommendations to ensure our program is as safe as possible for all participants.

We will be utilizing a class format rather than traditional league play to allow us more flexibility in delivering a safe and effective program. Your child will participate with the same group of kids – their class – each night. Classes will be no larger than 20 players and meet once per week. If possible, we will have all teammates from previous seasons in the same class to assist with comfort and continuity for players. We are in the process of finalizing and confirming our class schedules, health and safety protocols, and program execution plan. Once everything is finalized, we will provide that information to registered parents so you will have a better understanding of how the different athletic programs will operate this fall.

We are excited to announce the start dates for the following programs:

A: Yes, program credits do not expire and can be used for any future program.

Q: Can program credits be applied for anything other than athletics?

A: Yes. Athletic program credits can be used as payment for summer day camp registration, any special event registration, or as a program donation.
