“CHERRY LANE SANITARY SEWER OUTFALL”
Sealed Bids will be received by the City of Graham (Owner), 201 South Main Street, Graham, North Carolina 27253, (336) 570-6700, at the Graham Municipal Building, until 11:00 A.M., Friday, October 30, 2020, for the Cherry Lane Sanitary Sewer Outfall.
At said place and time, and promptly thereafter, all Bids that have been duly received will be publicly opened and read aloud.
The proposed work is generally described as follows:
Cherry Lane Sanitary Sewer Outfall
- The phased project includes approximately 4,800 LF of 8-12” DIP Sanitary Sewer including two stream crossings of Back Creek with dosing siphons.
All bids must be in accordance with the Bidding Documents on file at the office of Alley, Williams, Carmen & King, Inc., Post Office Box 1179 / 740 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, NC 27216-1179.

Bidders must be licensed contractors in the State of North Carolina, duly licensed accordingly for the appropriate section of Bid.
A 5% Bid security must accompany each Bid.
Each Successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Construction Performance Bond and a Construction Payment Bond as security for the faithful performance and the payment of all bids and obligations arising from the performance of the Contract.
A Pre-bid meeting will be held outdoors at the Cherry Lane Sewer Lift Station, 1798 Cherry Lane, Graham, North Carolina 27253 on October 14th at 2 PM. All bidders are strongly encouraged to attend.
No Bidder may withdraw his bid within 120 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities.
