Alamance County Municipal Tourism Development Authority
The Alamance County Municipal Tourism Development Authority was established on January 2, 2024, when the Burlington City Council passed the Resolution Establishing the Alamance County Municipal Tourism Development Authority. This Resolution was enacted pursuant to the provisions of the N.C.G.S. 160A-214 as amended by S.L. 2023-144. The Town of Elon, the City of Graham, and the City of Mebane each passed Resolutions joining the City of Burlington in the Alamance County Municipal Tourism Development Authority.
The Alamance County Municipal Tourism Development Authority will hold a special meeting on Thursday, May 23, 2024, at 12:00 pm, in the Council Chamber of Graham City Hall, 201 S. Main Street, Graham, NC. The purpose of this meeting is to consider the following:
- Organizational Meeting
- Solicitation of applicants for Municipal TDA Members to represent the hotel industry
- Discuss agreement with Alamance County for the collection of occupancy taxes for the Municipal TDA
