The City of Graham is seeking to hire a full-time Sanitation Collector/Equipment Operator.
The role of a Sanitation Collector/Equipment Operator is to collect brush, garbage, and other disposed of items. Special skill is required for safe operation in high traffic areas. Work is performed under the regular supervision of the Public Works Director. This employee is responsible for loading an open body truck, assisting the driver in disposing waste at the landfill, and performing other related work.
Position Qualifications: Requires a North Carolina Class B Driver License, completion of a high school diploma or equivalent, and some experience in the operation of motorized equipment.
