City of Graham Encourages Voluntary Water Conservation

Due to ongoing drought conditions, the City of Graham is encouraging customers to voluntarily reduce non-essential water use.

Residents and businesses are asked to consider the following steps:
Outside Your Home
– Limit or delay watering lawns and landscaping
– Avoid washing vehicles or pressure washing unless necessary
– Postpone filling or refilling swimming pools

Inside Your Home
– Run full laundry loads
– Take shorter showers
– Check for leaks and repair them promptly

Reducing non-essential water use during drought conditions helps ensure the water supply remains continuously available for essential needs, including drinking water, healthcare, and fire emergencies.
These are voluntary measures. The City appreciates the cooperation of Graham residents and businesses in supporting community water conservation.
