On 09/21/2020 the Graham Police Department began investigating an incident in which a white male was open carrying a firearm during a protest or demonstration. We saw photographs on Facebook that depicted a white male with a firearm on his hip while walking through courtsquare during a rally that occured on 09/19/2020. His identity was verified and charges were obtained on Russel Brady, 23 year old male from Graham NC, Charging him with possession of weapon at a parades, funeral procession, picket lines or demonstrations and carrying a concealed weapon without a valid permit. He was arrested on those warrants on 09/26/2020.
