Operation Recreation Vol 6 – Graham Regional Park’s Inclusive Playground

As many already know, there is a new playground coming to Graham Regional Park! This new playground will provide a play space for children of all ages and abilities. A place where all can play together…grown ups too! For this week, Brian Faucette, Recreation & Parks Director, gives us a special sneak peek of the progress underway, the community organizations that came together to make this project happen, and shows us a few of the fun features of this innovative playground!

Many of you are already curious as to what is coming next! Graham Regional Park is being developed in phases. As the Master Plan is completed, it will help direct us to what features our park system needs in the coming years, so stay tuned…

As a reminder: Graham Regional Park is currently closed due to COVID-19 until further notice due to the large area needing to be closed off, including the youth challenge course, zip line, and playground features.
